Prague Castle

Prague Castle is the heart of Prague and the whole of the Czech Republic, an ancient residence of Princes, Emperors, and the modern-day President of the Czech Republic. Today, it is the largest castle complex in the world and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the castle grounds, you will find architectural monuments from different eras, most notably the Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral. During the tour, you will walk through the royal Hradčany district, visit the Strahov Monastery, the Chernin and Toscan Palaces and the beautiful Loreta complex.

Vyshehrad

Vyshehrad is one of the oldest and most mysterious districts of Prague, located on a high hill above the Vltava River. According to legend, it was here that Princess Libushe predicted the glory of the future Czech capital. The fortress was founded in the 10th century and was once a major rival to Prague Castle as the country’s main center. Vyshehrad served as the residence of Czech rulers and a symbol of national identity. During the excursion you will be able to visit the Gothic Church of Saints Peter and Paul, the Romanesque Rotunda of St. Martin, and the famous Vysehrad Cemetery, where outstanding Czech figures are buried.

The Old and New Towns of Prague

The Jewish Quarter in Prague is known as Josefov. It is a unique place where the history and culture of the Jewish people are visible at every corner. Here you will find six historic synagogues, including the oldest in Europe - the Old-New Synagogue and the Spanish Synagogue with its magnificent oriental interior. The Old Jewish Cemetery from the 15th century is especially impressive; it is one of the oldest in Europe. Despite centuries of hardship, Josefov has kept its strong spirit and national identity.

Prague Zoo

Prague Zoo is one of the most beloved places for family recreation in the Czech capital. Founded in 1931, it is located on a scenic site by the Vltava River and is considered one of the best zoos in the world. The zoo is home to over 650 animal species, including rare and endangered ones. Special attractions include the Indonesian Jungle, African House and the unique Elephant Valley pavilions.
